Prof. René Muller

René was born in 1955 and graduated in 1978 from the Ecole Centrale de Paris (France). He received his Ph.D. in 1983 from the University Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg (France) with a work on “Design of a new extensional rheometer for polymer melts".

Since 1981, he was first associate professor, and then full professor at the University of Strasbourg (France) teaching polymer physics, rheology and processing at the European Engineering School of Chemistry, Polymer and Material Sciences (ECPM). Its researches concern the development of new methods for the elaboration and the processing of polymeric materials.
