Research objective

My PhD project, supervised by Olivier Bardagot and Nicolas Leclerc (ICPEES), aims at enhancing the performance of organic semiconductors materials (OSC) in Organic Electrochemical Transistors (OECTs). The research aims to combine innovative side-chain engineering—utilizing tri-segmented side chains—with the development of highly aligned p-type and n-type semiconductor films as channel polymeric material in order to improve the doping efficiency, charge transport, kinetic and material stability of the OECT. The devices will be characterized using advanced time-resolved spectroelectrochemical techniques, providing valuable insights into the relationship between material properties and device performance.
