Research goals

My PhD project, directed by T.Cottineau (ICPEES), is designed to produce green hydrogen from solar energy, a key solution for the energy transition. By combining semiconductors (BiVO4, TiO2) and co-catalysts, this work aims to develop asymmetric heterostructures capable of enhancing the conversion of solar energy into hydrogen through two main approaches, photocatalysis (PC) and photoelectrochemistry (PEC). This project will focus on studying these heterostructures to understand the charge transfer processes at the triple SC/co-catalyst/electrolyte interface in order to improve photocatalyst performance.
